Our new addition is "David" our shelf elf. Mimi ordered him from Santa to keep an eye on the girls and to help mommy maintain a small remnant of her sanitity. Once the girls have fallen asleep, David goes to the Northpole and reports to Santa whether they have been good or bad. When he comes back before morning he has a different lookout spot each day. The girls are just fasinated by David, and it is helping improve their behavior.
David has been with us for a few weeks now. Finding David has become Sara's sole mission every morning. She is currently waking up between 5-5:30 AM so she can find David before her sister. This morning had to be his most creative lookout spot, yet.
