Paperwork, Paperwork

Paperwork, Paperwork. Everywhere I turn there is paperwork. I'm drowning in paperwork. Forgot how much paperwork comes with the start of fall.

With my oldest in elementary school we get the completed school work, the homework to be completed, notices on peanut allergies and the flu virus. Scholastic Book order forms. PTA announcements and activities, book fair, ice cream socials, guest speakers, enroll for after school activities.......Blah, blah, blah.

Her after school activities are no better, they brings home Girl Scout paperwork, Soccer schedules, field maps and snack schedule. Even God sends home paperwork from religion class: newsletters, worksheets and bulletins.

Then there is my youngest in preschool. All her lovely art projects that mommy has this maternal need to hang on to. School newsletters, fundraising opportunities, recipes for making play dough, birthday invitation, more Scholastic Book order forms and yes another notice about peanut allergies. Homework (yes she even gets homework in preschool!).

Then there is my husband starting a new job, bringing home benefit packages, details on 4 different health plans, forms to fill out on health insurance, dental insurance and life insurance.

And of course we can't forget about my own hobbies and the paperwork each generates. Neighborhood Service Area minutes and agendas and notes to bring to next meeting. Daisy Girl Scout parent information, enrollment forms, health forms, troop registration. PTA agendas, minutes, Plan of action forms, reimbursement forms, order forms. Box Top collection forms and tally sheets. Can't forget my husbands favorite of the little box tops that fall off the collection sheet and are all over the house.

Yes and there is my passion for saving money and the coupons and sales flyers.

I need a damn secretary to keep all this paperwork straight! Doesn't anyone believe in saving a tree these days!
