As we sat down for dinner last night, Emma walked over and leaned down to tell me something. She asked "Mommy, do you know the sweetest thing you have done for me?" I'm thinking to myself, she surely not going to say warming up the chicken nugget on her plate, is she? She must be trying to butter me up for something. "What's the sweetest thing Emma?"
"Mommy the sweetest thing you ever did was giving birth to me (followed by a kiss on the check)."
Its moments like this that make being a mom so special.
