Out of the blue yesterday Emma asks:
Mommy who's going to come in to help us?
Help you do what, honey (Mommy hasn't perfected her mind reading skills yet).
Bake you and Daddy a cake and all that.
Why would you be baking us a cake?
You know, to celebrate your anniversary.
Isn't that just too sweet! Granted our anniversary isn't for another two months, but the fact that she was thinking about just tickled me. By the way if anyone sees my next door neighbor, I think I told Emma that she would help her bake a cake. Might want to give her the heads up.
