"Mommy its a Shoe Bug. Tell it go away," exclaimed my 3 year old this morning.
I turned around expecting to see a high top sneaker that had sprouted wings, circling around my little one. Nothing that exciting. We won't be calling the national bug-ologist about a new species of insects. It was just your average annoying fly.
We have had a lot of flies around here lately, I suppose they are trying to escape the heat as well. I have tried to swat the flies and say "shoo fly" which Sara in her little mind has translated to "Shoe Bug."
Perhaps I left her in her cow outfit a bit too long the other day.
