Some high negotiation taken place with my littlest one as of late. We have been waking up each morning to a little foot in our face or one of her baby dolls nylon hair in our mouths. Somehow in the wee hour of the morning Sara sneaks downstairs to wedge herself between her father and I. Paul calls her the "Little Nija" because one minute its just us in bed and the next she's there. Plus you never hear her coming, she just appears.
So we have been trying to convince her to stay in her own bed at night. During these talks we have tried to find out why she won't stay in her own bed. Our 3 foot tall daughter claims her twin size bed is too small! She tried to convince Daddy that if he moved our Queen size bed up to her room, that she would stay in bed.
So my husband in his great wisdom played along. "Where would Daddy sleep if we moved the big bed up here?"
"Up here, with me."
"Well then where would Mommy sleep?"
"Downstairs with Tally (our dog) on Tally's bed (which is a cushion on the floor!!!!)."
Thanks kid. Mommy loves you too.
