On my way home today I passed one of those electrical notification signs, you know, the kind they usually use to tell you about road construction or lanes being closed. This sign flashed three times with a different message each time:
"Got Warrants?"
"Call this number ..... (posted phone number)"
"Police Round-Up"
Now, I know criminals aren't know to be the brightest bulb on the old Christmas tree, but are they actually THAT dumb, that they would call the number??? Better yet does our local law enforcement really think these criminals are going to say to themselves, "hey I gotta write that number down and call my friends at the old police station when I get home in this car I just stole." Really, I just don't get it.
